My learning and saved courses
In short: When you're signed in to Academy, the header shows My learning and Saved. My learning shows your stats, a Continue button for the lesson to pick up next, and your courses in progress and completed. Saved lists the courses you bookmarked with Save for later. Both are stored in your SciNodes account, so they follow you to any browser.
Open My learning
- Sign in to academy.scinodes.com with your SciNodes account.
- Click My learning in the header. The page greets you with "Welcome back, name".
- Read your stats: Courses started, Courses completed, Lessons completed and Minutes learned.
- Under "Pick up where you left off", click Continue to open the next lesson.
- Scroll to In progress to see each started course with "X of Y lessons".
- Scroll to Completed to see finished courses, marked "Complete".
Click any course card to open its course page.
What counts as progress
- A course counts as started once you mark at least one of its lessons complete.
- A course counts as completed when every lesson is marked complete.
- Opening or reading a lesson doesn't count. Click Mark as complete at the end of each lesson. See Courses and lessons.
If you haven't completed any lessons yet, you see "You haven't started a course yet" with Browse courses.
Save a course for later
- Find the course on Courses, a track page or the home page.
- Click the bookmark button on its card, or open the course and click Save for later.
- On the course page, the button changes to Saved.
To remove a course, click the bookmark again (its tooltip says Remove from saved), or click Saved on the course page.
Open your saved courses
- Click Saved in the header. The page "Saved courses" says "Courses you've bookmarked to come back to."
- To find one, type in "Filter saved…".
- Switch between Grid and List layouts.
- Click a course card to open it.
If you haven't saved any courses, you see "Nothing saved yet" with Browse courses.
Your learning on your profile
Your Academy profile, at academy.scinodes.com/profile, also shows Your learning: Lessons completed and Courses saved, with View my learning and View saved courses. See Academy profile and settings.
Troubleshooting

FAQ
Why isn't a course showing in My learning?
A course appears once you mark at least one of its lessons complete. Reading a lesson without clicking Mark as complete doesn't count.
Does saving a course enroll me?
No. Academy has no enrollment. Saving only adds the course to your Saved list.
Is my progress kept if I switch computers?
Yes. Progress and saved courses are stored in your SciNodes account. Sign in to Academy on any browser to see them.
Can I reset my progress?
There's no single reset button. Open each lesson and click Completed to mark it as not complete.
